On 97.5 The Fanatic, former Raven and Super Bowl champion, Cornerback Cary Williams was interviewed on the Mike Missanelli show, expressing attitude. Not a good one either. Williams has missed all OTA's and has been excused for all of them. He missed one week due to getting married, a second week for dental work, a third week for watching his new house get constructed, and a fourth week for attending his three-year old daughter's dance recital. The Super Bowl Champion Ravens were invited to the White House and Williams decided not to attend the team meeting with the president. It seems, Williams would not care and would do as he pleases due to the workout itself being "Voluntary". When a coach says it's voluntary, it's really mandatory to attend. If you fall for the it's voluntary, and think you don't have to go, you failed a hidden test. In reality, the coach would love to be honest and tell you that it's mandatory. But in the new CBA, the players fought hard for more off-season time and gives them the feel to rest and kind of have days off. But in reality it's mandatory. The coach wishes he could say it but he can't. Williams said when asked if he cared about getting off on the wrong foot with Eagles fans. "You're always going to have people that's going to say negative things about you and feel negative about you, whether you do things the right way or the wrong way. It doesn't matter, you're always going to have critics. Williams was asked if he regretted what he said and takes any of it back. Any regrets? "I feel like I did what I felt was right," Williams said. "I still don't take those words back or anything that I said or have done. I'd repeat them and do them again, twice over."
