What do you get when you add DeMeco Ryans and Connor Barwin?

You get a 2011 defense where Connor Barwin was a sacking force and DeMeco Ryans anchored the defense.
Many analysts and fans have pointed to the falling stats of Connor Barwin (post DeMeco Ryans) and conclude that Barwin was simply a one hit wonder. They are lazy. Investigating the comparison of the two years shows that Barwin was just a fraction less effective at the pass rush, and was asked to be more versatile and cover more positions in a post DeMeco defense.
What so few have evened mentioned is that the eagles defense ALREADY HAS DeMeco Ryans, and with this reuniting with Connor Barwin, there is a stronger chance of Barwin returning to 2011 form - moreso than any other team in the NFL. Yes, it's early and perhaps a bit premature. But if redskins fans can proclaim RGIII will be starting game one against the eagles in 2013, and will play 16 games, then we are well within our rights to mention this reunion will generate a lot more defense than the sum of the parts. I think it happens. With Barwin, Kendrick, Ryans, and Cole/Graham at LB, this could be one of the stronger squads in the NFL. Wouldn't that be something??
