Kaye & Klausner: NFL Draft Positional Top-5 & Top-50 Overall

Jerry Lai-US PRESSWIRE

The draft is about two weeks away, and Mike and I are ready to set our big boards after months of watching prospects. We'll follow the boiler plate top-5 per position and finish with our respective top-50 lists.

Before starting, I'd like to personally and profusely thank draftbreakdown.com, a resource without which the breadth and depth of my -- all of our -- prospect watching for the 2013 draft wouldn't have been possible. My only regret is not having discovered the site until December 2012. The lists that follow are separated by position, and Mike Kaye and my own top-50 overall big boards are at the end. Enjoy, and thanks for accompanying us on the journey.

First note: We didn't include FB in our top-5 positional rankings. But just so you know, my top guy is, of course, Harvard's Kyle Juzszcyk. Mike, is he your top guy, too? If not, he should be. (Kaye Editor's Note: I like Lonnie Pryor out of FSU).

Second note: I haven't studied enough C prospects to make a top-5 list, and none are in my top-50 anyway. Mike said he was combining C and OG for the sake of this exercise.

Third note: We didn't include kickers or punters and will understand if you boycott the rest of this article as a result.
