Why the Eagles really need to rethink current O-Line and add Depth....

Return to football after Achilles tendon rupture...

Only two-thirds of National Football League players ever come back, and those who do find their performance significantly affected. Then add the fact that Herremans is already playing out of position at RT. So for argument sake Peters goes down or does not play to former level? Then what? Not sure what they are thinking? Okay so you luck up in the draft and maybe grab Fisher or Joeckel. Why not grab a FA OT??? Yes Vollmer, Winston, Smith all have there limitations in there A-games, but recent injuries isn't one of them. I just do not understand why the reluctance to find Superior Tackles for this offensive line year after year? RT has been a headache since 2009 when Jon Runyan was not resigned in 2009. Lucky for us Herremans has had some success, but the running game has suffered going to the right side. If Chip Kelly is a run first Offense which I keep hearing then a Formidable, Healthy, Run & Pass blocking O-Line is a must!!! Say what you want about last year but the play of the secondary and O-Line was the two biggest pit fit falls. They may have addressed the CB position, Safety I am still not convinced due to injury history issues, then an O-Line that needs a minimum of two quality starters added, a Tackle for sure. Drafted Rooks take time to develop.......counting on injured player's before they return is a gamble, you just do not know. So you can address it now when you have time or you can rush out when the need arises? Oh yeah how did that Bell signing work out??? Here we go again??? Mind boggling at best. All this Super Bowl PR Spin for fans, pure wishful thinking.

It's hard to even image to see an NFC Championship game appearance till this O-Line is seriously revamped. It is just a waste to have all this talent at the skilled positions on Offense and not have time to utilize it due to poor line blocking regardless of the play called.

Hint: Just check out the starting O-Lines for the Ravens and 49ers in the last Super Bowl, then look at our O-Line and ask yourself, What is wrong with this picture again?
