What's up Eagles fans. I'm a student at the U of O and a big Chip Kelly fan. Regardless of the fact that he isn't coaching my team anymore, he's among the most fantastic figures I've ever come in contact with and you guys are surely about to be in for the ride of your lives as sports fans. As much as he's known nationally for his innovative offense and aggressive defenses, (http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/8631595/the-success-chip-kelly-oregon-ducks-offense-more-familiar-seems) it's his organizational and motivational skills that really stand out around here. He thinks about football differently. As you watch the read option branch into the NFL, the thing you will notice about Chip is that it's his constraint plays built off the read option (along with the relentless tempo) that truly make the difference. Watching Seattle this year, everyone could tell when they were going to run the read option because they would have Lynch in the IZR, further back behind the QB formation. They had no constraint plays but still success due to the blocking advantages of the ZR. Chip will show that look, but he could do any number of things to play off the opponents assumption of read option. And even if they play the read correctly, such as against ASU last year when they were sitting on the QB and forcing the give every time, Chip began pulling a guard play side while still reading the OLB or DE to further maximize the blocking advantage. He's a god damn genius. No offense in his four years here was the same as the last year proceeding. He's a master of working with what he has, whether it be foles or vick. (or dixon!!!!).

Anyways, just wanted to say that Eugene now has more than a few Eagles fans and you guys better enjoy the ride!
