Eagles Offensive Line still needs major help...

Yet I think the offensive line is still a big concern for me. Especially with 4 starters from last year’s O-Line returning from injuries. If healthy I would love to see Herremans back at LG alongside Peter’s, so I think the RG and RT positions still could be significantly upgraded over what is on the team.

The 2 new Safety additions both have histories of injuries, which is all too reminiscent of Marlin Jackson who never saw the field on game day.

I do like Carey Williams at CB, and Fletcher I saw play in one game last season and he was called repeatedly for holding yet he can’t be any worst then the two CB’s that left town thankfully.

So we sign a 3-4 NT or maybe Sopoaga gets plugged in next to Cox in a 4-3 ( I am Hoping that’s the plan)? If 3-4 is where they are going on D then Demeco Ryan becomes a non-fit, which is how we got Ryan to begin with from Houston.

We did pick up an OLB in Barwin but a bit of a stretch at 36 million, unless they are going to a 4-3 D and plan to plug him in with Ryans and Kendricks. Which it seems where they are headed with current personal.

The Casey pick up I like a lot, especially for double TE sets along with Celek and the multiple ways he can be used on offense.

Last but not least a LB pick up for Special Teams, and maybe a shot to get on the D as well.

The #4 draft pick will come down to who goes off in the first 3 picks, hole of need is the same hole of need for 5 years running a true Stud at RT, just my opinion, but the better your O-Line the better your Offense!

Herremans is most effective at LG next to Peters giving the Eagles a formidable blocking duo for McCoy, Brown and others on the left side, what is continuing to be ignored is fixing the right side of the O-Line. Just being satisfied throwing Herremans out at RT for a stop gap fix is just fundamentally stupid. The Eagles need to find a powerful RG & RT combo to be paired with Peters and Herremans on the Left side of the O-Line. In that way the Eagles will finally be able to maximize all the offensive weapons at the skilled positions!

If nothing else from last season, a lesson well learned I hope by the FO, is this offense is only as good as the O-Line that performs in front of it!!!
