Cincinnati just applied the franchise tag to DE Michael Johnson. Practically paving the way for Andre Smith to hit free agency. Unless, they strike a long-term deal with Mr. Smith.
Smith could sure up the right side of our OL, while freeing us up to go BPA with the #4 pick. We could pair him up with Warmack, that'd make a formidable, mauling right side of the line, for the next 5-7 years.
