There has been alot of talk recently about the eagles trading back in round 1 of the draft. Here are some potential dance partner (I included suggestions of some BGN readers).
Jets: If they fall in love with a qb at the combine, they could try to jump ahead of the Bills and Cardinals(qb needy teams) to ensure they get their guy. Compensation would be: #9, and #37 FOR our #4 and a #131
Chargers: They might want to move up to ensure they get their OT Fisher who is rising the draft boards quickly and could find himself in the top 5 by the time the combine is over. Compensation: Chargers give us #11,47,78 for #4 and 131
Carolina Panthers (courtesy of NCEAGLE): Carolina is stil kicking themselves over Fletcher Cox(apparently they were adament about not needing a DT last year). After a season of being gashed by just about every RB they played, DT is now a concern. If Carolina covets Star Latululie ("IF", since they very well could be happy with Hankins falling to them), they will have to move up to secure him. Compensation would be: #14,45,76,107 for #4, and #131, #196
Bears: Everyone knows that the Bears major concern is keeping Cutler upright. They could gamble that Lane Johnsone falls to them at 20, or they could be proactive and try to move up to land a stud like Joekel or Fisher (Long shot because the cost would be expensive). Compensation: 20, 52, 84, (2014 2nd round pick) for #4 and #131 and a 7th rounder (next year)
These are what I believe are our best hope at finding a dance partner to boogie on down the draft board and snatch up some more picks. Tried to make the compensation as realistic as I could (using value chart), to give an idea on what our #4 pick is worth
I encourage you all to add feasible draft scenario's that I may not be seeing. Here is a link to the draft chart that I used:
