Extreme makeover: eagles defense edition

I think everyone can agree that Asomugha and his 15 million dollar salary to be the worst player on the field at all times absolutely must go. It's disappointing that the eagles won't pay Rodgers-Cromartie, because he was probably the best player in the secondary last year and is as good as any cornerback on the free agent market.

That's going to leave the eagles in a position where they almost have to take Dee Milliner at #4 unless they can bring in help like Mike Jenkins, Quinten Jammer, or who knows, maybe even Darrelle Revis..

The absolute best move the eagles could make to improve the defense is adding DASHON GOLDSON. Reports are that SF will NOT use the franchise tag and if that's the case Roseman needs to open up his checkbook immediately and start writing..Another lesser known player is Dannelle Ellerbe, OLB for Baltimore last year and at times he was the best linebacker on the field (yes better than an aging ray Lewis)

I think the biggest mistake the eagles could make at #4 overall would be to take a DLineman... That's one of the least impactful positions on a football field, and the position (other than rb) where the eagles have the most depth... I think Milliner makes the most sense , but I'd also support joeckel if he's there, or Jarvis jones/dion Jordan...
