Quick thought...the more I watch tape of, and read about, Sheldon Richardson, the more I am considering him with the #4 pick. I have been a big fan of selecting, either, Joeckel or Fischer with #4, however, I am really starting to consider Richardson here. Ideally, we would trade back to get him, but that is impossible to predict. I am thinking that if we roll out a 3-4 defense in 2013, Cox would play the 5-technique. So, would Richardson make a solid 3-tecnique? He can definately plug the run, but would he be best suited for this? How would he fit, paired with Cox, as a Defensive Tackle in the 4-3 Under scheme? I think he would give our DL a lot of versatility, which is what the entire Eagles coaching staff continues to stress...versatility. I can't stop thinking about how dominate Cox and Richardson can be together for years to come. Thoughts?
