Did Celek throw away a perfectly good touchdown? And I was WRONG.

While Brent Celek's motives for sliding in the snow rather than driving home the final touchdown were self-less, did he really need to do that considering the Iggles were up by two touchdowns at the time? I think he screwed himself for no reason. I mean I appreciate the sentiment, but hey, how much damage could the Lions have done with about half a minute left and they were down by three scores?

I ask this because during some very tough years recently, Brent Celek was one of the few high points on the team. I want him to get his due. The man is a true team player. He deserves a touchdown every now and then.

BTW, I'm changing my tag after this game. But I wanted to leave it up long enough to show I'm man enough to admit my mistakes.

I was WRONG, WRONG, WRONG about Chip Kelly. The man is smarter than me and a damn good coach, to boot. He may not reinvent the NFL, but he's sure applying some fresh ideas in novel ways and getting wins. Even if he loses out from this point on, he has rebuilt the Eagles as well as any coach in the league could have been expected to.

And Billy Davis? I never expected a guy with such an unremarkable track record to turn around such a flustercluck so quickly. Kudos to Chip Kelly and his entire coaching staff. (I'm not saying anything about ST here. It was just one game.)
