Eagles Injury Update: Earl Wolff Easing Back Into Practice

Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

The Eagles are relatively healthy (yet again) heading into their Week 15 match-up against the Minnesota Vikings.

There are only two significant injuries to address. Chip Kelly spoke about each of these during his Monday post-game-day press conference. Kelly stated that rookie safety Earl Wolff was scheduled to practice week, and so far that has held true. Wolff was seen practicing on Tuesday for the first time since suffering a knee injury in Week 10.

After practice, Wolff spoke to the media. He confirmed he's feeling better than he was in previous weeks and he hopes to ramp up his practice activity each day this week. Wolff admitted he only did "a little bit" in Tuesday's practice.

It's clear Wolff isn't 100% healthy yet but he's easing his way back into action. The Eagles' young safety stated that "there's a chance" he plays Sunday, which is progress from previous weeks where he was expecting to be out at the start.

The other Eagles injury involves inside linebacker Najee Goode. Goode didn't practice on Tuesday due to a hamstring issue. This injury caused Goode to leave the Cardinals game early and be ruled out for the Lions game.

On the other side of things, Minnesota is dealing with some significant injuries. The most notable one is of that to Adrian Peterson, which Jason discussed earlier today.

It will be interesting to see the progress of these players as the daily injury reports are released leading up to the Eagles-Vikings game.
