Vick was limited in practice on Tuesday. According to reporters, Vick threw the ball in practice but he did not participate in team drills. The Eagles QB said he felt better than he did on Sunday and was "surprised" at how well he was able to move and throw with velocity during practice. At the same time, Vick cautioned he doesn't want to put himself in a position where the injury becomes worse. For what it's worth, a few Eagles reporters (Tim McManus and Jeff McLane among them) noted they still don't think Vick plays on Sunday.
If Vick can't play, Nick Foles will start in his place. Vick noted Foles is a very good backup and if he can't play, he hopes Nick plays well against Tampa.
Speaking of Foles, he also spoke after practice. He noted he will be ready to start no matter what happens. He also said that the team will run the same offense no matter who starts at QB.
If Vick misses time and Foles steps up while he's gone, Chip Kelly didn't rule out the possibility of Foles taking over the starting job. Until then, Vick is officially the Eagles starter when healthy.
