what's up Eagles Nation?

So our Seconday, specifically our safety play can be much better. Wouldn't everyone agre. I think one way to improve this is by dealing for a safety Jairus Byrd from the Bills. Hear me out. The Bills are looking to move him since he hasnt played this year for them and he is seeking a pay riase. I spoke to Spadaro on Eagles Live today and he expressed some concerns about this. I believe if we can get Jairus Byrd for maybe a 4th-5th this year and a conditional next year (based on season performance) that would be a steal. He is a 2 time Pro Bowl talent, who is a ball hawk (19 career picks in just 4-5 NFL seasons. I know he is injured, but when healthy he can be the piece that makes our secondary a strength to our defense. If our secondary is good we will probably get more sacks (coverage sacks_ and turnovers.

If we don't trade for him not, he will be a free agent come March 2014. Then we will probably be out of the competition as he will sign a contact probably along the lines of the one Dashon Gholson got this past offseason. Also if we get him now, then we can franchise tag him for the season and pay him top 5 money and hopefully resign him if he's deserving. What do you guys think. I think he can really help our defense and be an upgrade over Nate allen. Maybe even some 3 safety sets, and this will allow Nate to play a hybrid safety/linebacker role, which he likes to do since he bite on every play fake. What do you think Eagles Nation!! Thanks Solid win yesterday but we need to get better to compete with the best of the best!

Plus Jairus is a Chip Kelly Guy!! He went to Oregon and played during Chip's tenure. Seems liek a amtch made in heaven to me. hmmmmm.
