As it turns out, there is news in the NFL right now that is not related to Chip Kelly! We've got a couple playoff games to contest and today's matchups actually look much more exciting than yesterday's.
First up is the AFC where the upstart Colts travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens. This is a new blood vs old blood matchup for the ages. Andrew Luck, very possibly the future face of the league, heads into the home of Ray Lewis, a sure fire hall of famer who could be playing in his last game. It's the end of one era and the start of another.
The NFC game should be a lot of fun. The Redskins make their long awaited return to the postseason led by a rookie QB Robert Griffin III and will face another team led by a rookie, the Seattle Seahawks with Russel Wilson. Both teams run hybrid, spread type offenses that fit very well with their QBs skill set & both teams run the ball well. The big difference between the two is that the Seattle D is probably the best in the NFL, while the Redskins are probably a bit below average in that department. It should be a fun and competitive game with the Redskins at home.
