It can be speculated that Andy Reid (and the Eagles) chose to make a number of exceptions towards the end of his tenure in Philadelphia; the hiring and eventual firing of Juan Castillo, the free agent spending frenzy of 2011, the drafting of Danny Watkins could all be looked at as viable examples. Chip Kelly (much like Andy did when he first arrived) appears to have a clear and concise view of how he wants his Eagles to not only play but look as well. Of course we've seen the quotes about Kelly wanting 'longer' players, but trust and believe it doesn't stop there. And he appears to make no exceptions to his rules.
