Reports are out that Cleveland Browns Linebackers Coach Bill Davis has interviewed for the Eagles Defensive Coordinator position. Two things of note about this, if it is in fact true: 1. Chip Kelly really seems to value linebacker play in his defense, and seeing as though we may be moving to a 3-4 and that is a linebacker driven defense it makes a lot of sense. The supposed 3rd or 4th possible candidate currently coaches the linebackers for the Ravens. 2. Even w/o Andy Reid on staff & Banner seemingly at odds w/ Lurie, the Ohio/Philadelphia pipeline is still well and good. Probably ESP will write an article regarding my first point (or Jason will write it and put ESP's name on it) and how it's in stark contrast to the value Reid put in his linebackers post Shawn Barber, Trotter, Dahani Jones and Emmons.
