Michael Buchanan, Future Philadelphia Eagle?

Yesterday at Senior Bowl practice, members of the Philadelphia Eagles were spotted meeting w/ Illinois OLB/DE Michael Buchanan. Buchanan had an outstanding 2011 campaign in which he tallied 64 tackles (13.5 of which were for a loss) and registered 7.5 sacks. His play regressed this year though due to injury he played the pass better registering 6 pass deflections in addition to picking up his first and only collegiate interception. He appears to be a prime candidate for the 3-4 as an OLB, and may slip to the 3rd round depending on his combine/Pro Day numbers. If the Eagles do elect to move to a 3-4 defense he would be a very talented player we could get for a relatively cheap price. Check out the film breakdown of the kid.
