In the summer of 2011, I penned a little FanPost that had to do with when the NFLPA Lockout would proceed past your point of no return. Well, I have found that we are in a similar situation right now with the Referee Lockout.

My "fanatic" status hasn't changed (yet) and if anything it has been strengthened by the fact that both parties were able to put there squabbling to the side and reach an agreement that prevented our beloved sport from being cancelled or delayed. However, the goodwill that was bought by the NFL by ending that Lockout is quickly being erased because the Replacement Refs that are being used as substitutes for the Regular Refs are compromising the product we all love and enjoy. (I'm not going to beat a dead horse here, if you have watched even just a few minutes of a NFL game this year, then you know exactly what I am talking about). Long story short, they are negatively influencing the game and have come very close to determining outcomes due to their mistakes.

Imagine how PISSED OFF the fan-base of a team is going to be if their team loses a game because the Replacement Refs made a mistake.

Well Football Fans, we need to let RG1, Mr. Roger Goodell know that enough is enough and that we're not gonna take it anymore.

I'm not going to sit here and pretend that I have all the answers on this, or even all the details. I don't know what the problem is and frankly, I don't give a shit. All I know is that it has to end, and there is no way that they don't have the resources to resolve this.

The NFL makes more money than God and the fact that they can't formulate an acceptable CBA for the Referees is beyond comprehension and unaceptable.

After watching the talking heads on ESPN, it appears as if this ShitShow is no closer to being resolved and that is just plain not good enough.

Time to take action. I have started a petition here *and if you feel the same way I do, please take a minute and sign it. If not, well, I hope your team loses because of them. Okay, I am sorry, that was wrong and impolite.

*I feel like I should tell you that I absolutely despise getting items like this in my inbox or forwarded from friends, and yet here I am doing it to you. Let that tell you EXACTLY how fed up I am with this situation after just 2 weeks.

RG1 basically is pissing in our faces with this and I don't know about you, but I don't like having someone piss in my face. And he is doing this because he arrogantly assumes we won't stand up and say something. This is our chance. There is power in numbers and I say we start flexing our collective muscles on the NFL.

If this is not resolved by Monday, September 24, I will no longer watch NFL football and I will in no way, shape or form, spend any money on the NFL or any of their sponsors. This is going to be excruciatingly hard for me, but I see no other way to convey this message to RG1. Enough is enough.
