Boys and girls, we just beat the Ravens, 24-23. In this game we proved a lot of things. Demeco Ryans is back, you can't deny that, unless you're maybe Jacoby Jones (but fuck him anyway). Ryans had possibly the best game of his career with TFLs, an INT, and a sack. Name an Eagles' LB that's done that in the last 5 years (don't worry, I'll wait--actually I think Akeem Jordan did it in 09 and Will Witherspoon again in 09 but whatever). Mychael Kendricks may already be the 2nd best SAM in the league (Greenway), bro is everywhere. We proved Brent Celek is a Top 10 tight end in this league at minimum and he can jump perennial Pro-Bowlers with a single bound. We proved Shady is still a beast (minus a fumble) and Desean ain't afraid to get hit (50-yarder, ahem). We proved that surprisingly Dallas Reynolds is very doable as an NFL player. We proved you don't need to get sacks to get some serious pressure. We proved Cary Williams is in fact a bitch, but hey, I heard Victor Cruz's mom likes him. We proved Brandon Boykin was the right guy for the slot. We proved there may be hope for Demetress Bell and that our O-line is adaptable (good, because we're probably signing someone Monday). We proved Maclin can still be a redzone threat, despite being as frail as Mike Vick. We proved we are better than the Ravens, we should have won by 14-17 points.

Take what you want from this win but out of everything, I think the two most important things we proved is that Vick can be clutch and Juan Castillo can call defense. I am super-stoked and hope you are. Fly Eagles Fly, on the Road to Vicktory ; )
