I took a little trip down memory lane, to last year, when the sun was shining, the grass was green, and the smell of football was once again in the air. The Ravens had just demolished the defending AFC champions Steelers 35-7, Flacco had finally put it all together, throwing for 3TDs and no INTs against the Steelers' vaunted defense, and Rice ran for over 100 yards.

What a great time it was to be a Ravens fan. Of course the next week, Flacco threw for 1 TD and 2 INTS and the Ravenslost to that HOF shoo-in Matt Hasslebeck and his Titans. You know, those same Titans who had opened with a 16-14 stinker against the Jags?

Of course the Ravens had a great season, but let's not lose sight of the fact that just because they lit it up in game 1 doesn't really mean anything for week 2. Also, just because Vick looked bad in game 1 doesn't mean he will in game 2, nor I imagine can we draw too much from the Eagles having the #1 defense in the NFL (year to date). :)
