My son noticed that after Coleman intercepted the ball at the end of the game, DeMeco Ryans came running over frantically telling Coleman to get down on the ground.
Watching the replay, you can see him waving his hands... and I'm sure he was also yelling the same thing.
This very much pleased me. It's like having an extra coach on the field.
Last time I remember someone doing that was when Jon Ronyan was yelling at Westbrook to lay down on the 1 yard line (versus enter the end zone and give the other team the ball back).
I am die-hard Eagles fan who lives in Houston. Ryans only problem with his play here was an injury. Other than that, the man was always making tackles.
I could not have been more pleased when the Eagles got Ryans. It was also very telling that his Texans teammates were very confused when he was sent to Philly.
