What I believe to be the best 53

Quarterback: Michael Vick, Nick Foles, Trent Edwards. A few short weeks ago I would have been laughed at for picking Edwards over Kafka but now it seems it could actually happen. Kafka has missed time with a broken hand and Trent Edwards has shown control and command in the offense-- albeit against 3rd stringers. Confidence Level: 9

Running Back: LeSean McCoy, Dion Lewis, Bryce Brown. No surprises here, all 3 of these players are or could be starters at one point or another. Confidence Level: 10

Fullback: Chris Polk. This is where it gets interesting, Stanley Havili actually seems more like a running back than full back. The better blocker wins the battle here, and it's polk.

Tight End: Brent Celek, Clay Harbor. No need for explanation here; these are our two tight ends. Confidence Level: 8

Wide Receiver: DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Jason Avant, Riley Cooper, Demaris Johnson, Mardy Gilyard. Another surprise. Though we might only keep 5 receivers, Gilyard at least deserves a look. He has displayed great athleticism and made circus catches in both practice and in preseason contests. Confidence Level: 9

Offensive Tackle: King Dunlap, Todd Herremans, Demetrius Bell, Dennis Kelly. Right now, King Dunlap is our starting left tackle, and though he has earned it, i'm not sure how I feel about it. Herremans will be the rock of this group and Jason Peters will be missed. Kelly presents a lot of upside. Confidence Level: 6

Offensive Guard: Danny Watkins, Evan Mathis, Julian Vandervelde. This group should be somewhat of a strength, I trust Watkins development and Mathis to hold it down for us. Confidence Level: 9

Center: Jason Kelce, Dallas Reynolds. I am very confident in Jason Kelce as a second year pro, this offensive line also has a lot of chemistry. Confidence Level: 9

Defensive Ends: Trent Cole, Jason Babin, Phillip Hunt, Brandon Graham, Vinny Curry. The only question here is where is Darryl Tapp, I believe he will be traded at some point. Confidence Level: 10

Defensive Tackle: Cullen Jenkins, Derek Landri, Fletcher Cox, Cedric Thornton, Antonio Dixon. They might keep Tapp and trade Dixon, but for now I'll keep it this way. Confidence Level: 8

Outside Linebacker: Mychal Kendricks, Jamar Chaney, Brian Rolle, Akeem Jordan. I bumped Chaney into the starting lineup after a weak showing from Rolle, but he has a chance to earn it back. Keenan Clayton is the victim here but he will land somewhere else. Confidence Level: 7

Middle Linebacker: DeMeco Ryans, Casey Mathews. Mathews gets the nod here but Ryan Rau played well vs Cleveland and could push him for the spot, but it's not likely. Confidence Level: 7

Cornerback: Nnamdi Asomugha, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Joselio Hanson, Brandon Boykin, Curtis Marsh, Cliff Harris. I kept Cliff Harris over Brandon Hughes because he has too much potential to cut. Other than that it is pretty much as expected. Confidence Level: 8

Safety: Nate Allen, Kurt Coleman, Oj Atogwe, Phillip Thomas. I expected Phillip Thomas to come in and be successful and it is happening now that he has gotten a chance to play. It's sad that Jarrett couldn't make an impact. Confidence Level: 6

Special Teams: Alex Henery, Mat McBriar, Jon Dorenbos. No surprises here. Confidence Level: 10
