GIANTS Terrell Thomas reinjures ACL

An MRI of Giants RCB Terrell Thomas' (ACL surgery) troublesome right knee revealed an injury "involving the ACL."Thomas will undergo exploratory surgery to determine the extent, but it's quite possible he's re-torn the ACL that cost him all of 2011. If that's the case, his career could be in jeopardy, while the Giants would likely be forced to turn to 2011 first-round pick Prince Amukamara opposite Corey Webster. Even if Thomas has avoided re-tearing his ACL, there's almost no chance he'll be ready for Week 1. Thanks to a foot injury, Amukamara played only 204 snaps as a rookie. No. 94 overall pick CB Jayron Hosley suffered a knee laceration in Monday's practice.
