I believe that Patterson will land on the PUP list. Some people are predicting there to be only 4 DT on the 53 man roster,in my opinion there will end up being 5 DT on the 53 man roster, but I still believe that Tapp and even possibly Thornton could make it over Dixon. Although he has reportedly lost weight since last year, it sounds like it was not enough. From what I have been reading about his performance at camp is that he looks good once he gets running but his first step looks very slow and he is not exploding off of the ball. Also one could infer by the fact that Dixon left practice several days ago with cramps that he is not taking care of his body as well as he could be doing, whether it be through hydration or nutrition. After a year where Dixon had flashes of an above average player, it is disappointing to see that he might not even make the roster. If he doesn't, hopefully it will serve as a wake up call and he will get into better shape for the start of next year.
