News is slow today, so while breaking down an NFL list is not the most exciting thing in the world, this one is worth noting.
ESPN's Ron Jaworski has spent the last few weeks doing a daily segment where he breaks down how he ranks each quarterback in the NFL. On Friday Michael Vick's spot on the list was revealed at No. 12, where Jaws said while he thinks Vick could have a big year this year, he pointed out that Vick still misses too much time due to injury.
After ranking Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan number 11, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo made Jaws top 10, two spots ahead of Vick. Jaws citied Romo's natural instincts and his ability to not turn over the ball as the reasons he cracked the top 10.
Did Jaws get it right by ranking Romo over Vick?
Here are the numbers:
Romo: 8-8 record as starter, 31 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, 4,184 yards passing, 46 yards rushing, 3 fumbles lost
Vick: 7-6 record as starter, 18 touchdowns, 14 interceptions, 3,303 yards passing, 589 yards rushing, 4 fumbles lost
I'll throw it to a vote and some debate: Do you think Romo is a better quarterback than Vick?
