Not a whole lot of action from today’s OTA, but some of the post-practice hubbub centered on third-year tight proClayHarbor, who might be losing his grip on the No. 2 tight end job. Harbor was billed as a freakishly athletic prospect when the Eagles drafted him out of 1-AA program Missouri State, a tight end with above-average speed who could present matchup problems for safeties and linebackers from either the natural tight end position or the slot. But in his first two seasons, Harbor has shown more improvement as a blocker than as a reliable receiver, and lately, he’s had trouble making the routine catch in these OTAs. Brett Brackett, the 6-foot-5, 246-pound former Penn State tight end who was signed to the practice squad midway through last season, has seen some significant reps with the first offense since these camps started and could be pushing Harbor for the No. 2 job come training camp next month.
