NFL Network has been running their summer schedule filler Top 100 players in the NFL series and revealed last night that LeSean McCoy came in at #18.
McCoy had a record breaking season in 2011 rushing for 1309 yards and setting franchise records for rushing TDs (17) and total TDs (20). He was the Eagles best player last season and without question deserves a spot among the top 20 in the NFL.
As for whether he belongs higher or not? I dunno. These kinds of lists just beg you to argue with them, so I kind of don't want to take the bait you know?
I thought McCoy handled it well in a tweet today.
