Chris Polk was arguably the most surprising player not to be selected in the 2012 draft. After a very good college career, concerns about his health (that he and his coach insist are unfounded) dropped him from a potential 2nd-3rd round pick to being undrafted. He ended up signing with the Eagles within hours of the draft concluding.

During the whole pre draft process, a film crew produced the following short documentary on him.

"Before the Beginning With Chris Polk," chronicles his training for the NFL Scouting Combine. It was intended to be a behind-the-scenes look at what players go through as they prepare for the Combine, but it turned into something else altogether, an intimate look at a young man on the verge of achieving his childhood dream, and the hopes and anxieties that go with it.
