Love our draft, still nervous about safety

Ok, we are all excited about our great draft, but we still need help at safety. Nate Allen is ok, but the Koleman-Jarrett combination makes me nervous. My first choice would be to somehow convince Brian Dawkins to play one more year. Let the guy do whatever he wants, coach player. Only practice half the time, play about 10 to 15 a game, even if just for his leadership it would help. Chances are that won't happen. I would like to get Jim Leonard, he is a free agent, we could get him for super cheap, and he has experience. I know he is not the answer longterm, but he plays super physical and would give us some much needed veteran depth at the position. I live in San Diego and watch the Chargers lose to the Jets every year in the playoffs or regular season, the guy plays hard. If we signed him it would be the last piece to make me at least feel really good about our defense.
