I heard on Sirius NFL radio that the Eagles and Packers are 2 teams that have expressed interest in trading with Cleveland for Colt McCoy. I think it'd be great if they can get him for cheap. The Browns never really gave him a fair chance. He shined at times during his rookie season. I don't think many QBs would have fared well for the Browns last year. Now they've drafted Brandon Weeden in the first round and want him to be their starter.
McCoy is only 6-1, but he's smart and an accurate passer who was very successful in college (Texas). He doesn't have ideal arm strength, but I think he can be a Jeff Garcia type of QB. I'm not too high on Kafka, and wouldn't mind trading Kafka to the Browns along with a late round pick for McCoy.
At Texas, Colt McCoy had a QB rating of 158.25 completing 70% of his passes for 13,253 yds, 112 tds and 45 ints.
