The Eagles have moved quickly in the undrafted free agent period and have snagged two very talented players with issues.

The first is Washington Huskies RB Chris Polk. It was a surprise when he went undrafted, but rumors flew around about injury red flags as the draft wore on. There were reports about a shoulder injury and later a degenerative hip condition, however Huskies coach Steve Sarkissian refuted those saying any injuries were "news to him" and that he has "never heard that stuff."

Potential injury issues aside, he had a great career with the Huskies and was named to the All-Pac 12 first time last year. He rushed for 1,488 yards on 293 carries with 12 rushing TDs (16 total).

The other is former Oregon Ducks CB Cliff Harris - In 2010, Harris had 5 picks, returned 4 punts for TDs and led the nation with 20 passes defensed. He seemed well on his way to being a future first round pick. In 2011 he was kicked off the team.

Therein lies the problem with Harris, his character issues. He was suspended from the team after being cited doing 115 mph on an interstate while already being on a suspended license. While serving that suspension, he was caught with marijuana and the Ducks just had enough. So we've got a very talented player here that can't stay out of trouble and didn't play last season. As UDFA candidates go, this is a pretty good one. He may be nothing, but they've at least got a chance at a home run here.
