KJ's Mock draft

I figured I'd give a mock draft a try, feel free to praise or criticize all you like. I'm not doing any trades in my mock even though there will probably be a lot tonight

First Pick: Indianapolis Colts select Andrew Luck from Stanford

Colts quickly replace Peyton Manning with another franchise QB in Luck

Second Pick: Washington Redskins select Robert Griffin III from Baylor

Redskins finally find their franchise QB

Third Pick: Minnesota Vikings select Matt Kalil from Southern Cal

Having to go up against Matthews & Peppers twice a year the Vikings decide to protect Ponder with Kalil

Fourth Pick: Cleveland Browns select Trent Richardson from Alabama

If the Browns are going to go forward with Colt McCoy as their QB they have to get help for him, they do it by getting him the best RB in the draft

Fifth Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Morris Claiborne from Louisiana State

Being in the same division as Brees, Newton, & Ryan the Bucs get the best CB in the draft

Sixth Pick: St Louis Rams select Justin Blackmon from Oklahoma State

Rams get Sam Bradford a target to throw to by choosing Blackmon over Floyd

Seventh Pick: Jacksonville Jaguars select Fletcher Cox from Mississippi State

Jaguars need another pass rusher to help Jeremy Mincey they get that with Cox

Eighth Pick: Miami Dolphins select Ryan Tannehill from Texas A&M

The Dolphins have been trying to replace Dan Marino forever they try again by reuniting Tannehill with his college coach Mike Sherman who is the OC

Ninth Pick: Carolina Panthers select Luke Kuechly from Boston College

Jon Beason & Thomas Davis have had trouble staying healthy so the Panthers take the guy many have said is the most sure pick in this draft to help there LB core

Tenth Pick: Buffalo Bills select Michael Floyd from Notre Dame

After adding Mario Williams in free agency the Bills decide to add Floyd & have a good WR combo with him & Stevie Johnson

Eleventh Pick: Kansas City Chiefs select Stephon Gilmore from South Carolina

After losing Brandon Carr to the Cowboys the Chiefs replace him with Gilmore to go up against Manning, Rivers & Palmer

Twelfth Pick: Seattle Seahawks select Chandler Jones from Syracuse

Seahawks add another DL to go along with Chris Clemons

Thirteenth Pick: Arizona Cardinals select Riley Reiff from Iowa

If the Cards want to win the NFC West they have to protect Kevin Kolb they start in the right direction by adding Reiff

Fourteenth Pick: Dallas Cowboys select Mark Barron from Alabama

Cowboys solve their safety problems by adding Barron

Fifteenth Pick: Philadelphia Eagles select Quinton Coples from North Carolina

Coples will be the Eagles DL Coach Jim Washburn's toy when he uses him all over the line to create havoc

Sixteenth Pick: New York Jets select Melvin Ingram from South Carolina

Ingram gives Rex Ryan a versatile player for his 3-4 defense

Seventeenth Pick: Cincinnati Bengals select Dre Kirkpatrick from Alabama

Kirkpatrick would give the Bengals some youth in the secondary & be an upgrade opposite Leon Hall

Eighteenth Pick: San Diego Chargers select Whitney Mercilus from Illinois

Mercilus will help solve the Chargers pass rush problems

Nineteenth Pick: Chicago Bears select David DeCastro

Chicago needs to protect Jay Cutler better so they select the best G in the draft

Twentieth Pick: Tennessee Titans select Kendall Wright from Baylor

Titans decide to give Jake Locker another weapon to go alongside Kenny Britt

Twenty first Pick: Cincinnati Bengals select Courtney Upshaw from Alabama

The Bengals supposedly covet Upshaw so they grab him here

Twenty second Pick: Cleveland Browns select Stephen Hill from Georgia Tech

Like I said earlier they need to add help for Colt McCoy so here they give him the 6'4 deep threat from Georgia Tech

Twenty third Pick: Detroit Lions select Cordy Glenn from Georgia

Jeff Backus is up there in age & they need to find a replacement, Glenn can play inside until Backus retires

Twenty fourth Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers select Dont'a Hightower from Alabama

With the release of James Farrior the Steelers find his replacement in Hightower

Twenty fifth Pick: Denver Broncos select Michael Brockers from Louisiana State

Broncos lost their run stuffer in Bunkley & will replace him with another one in Brockers

Twenty sixth Pick: Houston Texans select Rueben Randle from Louisiana State

Texans decide to find a compliment for Andre Johnson

Twenty seventh Pick: New England Patriots select Shea McClellin from Boise State

Versatile player for Belichick to use

Twenty eighth Pick: Green Bay Packers select Nick Perry from Southern Cal

Packers get another pass rusher opposite Matthews with a fellow Trojan

Twenty ninth Pick: Baltimore Ravens select Peter Konz from Wisconsin

Matt Birk is 35 so Konz would be his eventual replacement for now he can fill Grubbs spot who left for the Saints

Thirtieth Pick: San Francisco 49ers select Coby Fleener from Stanford

49ers coach Jim Harbaugh likes two TE sets so he selects someone he's familiar with who happens to be the best TE in this draft & will make a really good combo with Davis

Thirty first Pick: New England Patriots select Kendall Reyes from Connecticut

Reyes gives Belichick another versatile DL to use on his defense

Thirty second Pick: New York Giants select Doug Martin from Boise State

After cutting Brandon Jacobs the Giants get Martin to form probably a better one two combo with Bradshaw
