Adam Caplan has released his latest mock draft, which is a bit more interesting than the million other mock drafts out there because he's actually plugged in to the Eagles. So it may be at least a little telling that he has the Eagles taking Louisiana State DT Michael Brockers.
"Brockers is a better player than Poe, according to personnel sources, so the Eagles will add him here at a need position."
Fletcher Cox came off the board at #6 in his mock, so if he was going to take a DT the choice was down to Brockers or Memphis DT Dontari Poe. Clearly Caplan believes that teams rate Brockers over Poe, who he actually does not even have as a first round pick.
