The Miami Herald is reporting that free agent safety Yeremiah Bell has "drawn interest" from the Eagles. The 34 year old was released by the Dolphins last week, but Miami reportedly is interested in bring him back.
He might be an interesting fit here. He played well last season, he obviously is very familiar with new secondary coach Todd Bowles (who was previously with the Dolphins) and he's a short term solution. If the Eagles do see the pair of Nate Allen and Jaiquwan Jarrett as their future, a one year deal with Bell gives them some short term stability at the position while not getting in the way of the young guys.
If the Eagles are indeed interested in him, I'm sure it's only on the right terms. If he's interested in a one year, lower cost type of deal to play on a team with a chance of winning, then I could see this maybe getting done.
