The Safety Position should not be a position we should worry about

We already have the FS spot locked up with Nate Allen and Kurt Coleman. Nate although lost at times last year really came on towards the end of the year. Kurt was a average starter at best except for that one redskin games where he completely torched rex grossmans foreskin. But he should be more than capable to step in at both positions, if the need arises.

At SS we are weak I'll admit it but a FA signing and Jaiquawn Jarrett should shore up that position. Jarrett really didnt show much at all in his first full season but before we label him a bust we must take into consideration the fact he didn't have a full offseason. I think the kid can be special if shown the ropes and guided by a good coach. Colt Anderson was the other SS...he will be #53 on the roster as our special teams ace.

The Eagles also have two hybird players who can help in addressing depth at the safety position..the Two players you ask...Curtis Marsh who was our CB prospect last yr who also has the skill set to play FS and Keenan Clayton our backup LB who played safety in college and would be a great fit at SS.

This position should not be addressed through this draft in which almost all the safety prospects are mediocre...We should instead try and get a veteran SS through FA...Yerimiah Bell would be obvious choice..duh!!

BUT ABOVE ALL THE MAIN REASON THIS SAFETY SQUAD HAS A CHANCE TO BE A STRENGTH IS THE ADDITION OF TODD BOWLES.....a man who has produced multiple pro bowl safeties and who himself was a safety
