MLive.com reports free agent MLB Stephen Tulloch is seeking a contract that will pay him "no less" than $6 million per season.
-- Cleveland's D'Qwell Jackson's set the bar every free agent linebacker wants this offseason, signing a five-year deal, which is worth $42.5 million ($19 million in guarantees and bonuses).
-- Denver Broncos just signed linebacker Joe Mays to a three-year deal worth about $12 million. Last season was Mays' first as a starter, he had 75 tackles, but will earn an average of $4 million a year.
-- New York Jets linebacker David Harris received a four-year deal worth $36 million, with a guarantee of $29.5 million, last year.
-- Carolina Panthers linebacker Jon Beason received a five-year, $50 million contract extension that includes $25 million guaranteed, prior to last season.
-- Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Clint Session signed a five-year deal worth $30 million, which includes a base salary of $5.6 million in 2012.
Here are some numbers on the low end:
-- Dan Connor's started 11 games for Carolina and signed a two-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys totals $6.5 million, including a $2.7 million signing bonus, this offseason. Connor's base salary is $800,000 in 2012 and $3 million in 2012-13.
