There have been many hate filled anti-Vontaze Burfict pieces on BGN recently. It makes me wonder how objective some of us around here really are::::stares at JasonB:::::I mean, look at some of Jason's vindictive "reporting" on Vontaze Burfict (a man, by the way, whose character and hustle are beyond reproach). Are we going out of our way to find things to hate? Let's find out.

Here are some of the spicier outtakes from Jason's unrelenting hatepiece. Each quote is followed by my own objective analysis of what it means.

"Arizona St. LB Vontaze Burfict was a guy we identified as really needing to have a good combine, specifically in the interview rooms. However, speaking to the press today, it doesn't sound like Burfict has been saying the right things."

EvilBanner commentary--Jason's really going out on a limb here. His subjectivity comes to the forefront with the choice of the pronoun "we" and his "saying the right things" slam is a thinly veiled shot at Burfict's religious beliefs.

"If he can't handle being shuffled in and out of the lineup"

EvilBanner commentary--Jason's use of the word "shuffled" is no accident here. A shuffling gait is indicative of advanced Parkinson's disease and Jason is using his media connections to sabotage Burfict's draft position by diagnosing him with Parkinson's over the internet.

"It's disheartening to see that he doesn't realize why people see it as a bad sign that his "first instinct is to swing.""

EvilBanner commentary--Who is JasonB to tell Vontaze Burfict that he can't "swing?" It's a perfectly legitimate lifestyle, Jason. Get with the fucking program. It's the new millenium. If it's good enough for Hugh Hefner, it should be good enough for Vontaze Burfict. Who are you to pass judgment on this nice young man, Jason?

There are many other flagrant examples of JasonB's anti-Burfict bias, but they are too numerous to mention. Vontaze Burfict is the next Mike Singletary. Take it to the bank, motherfuckers.
