Landri hopes to stay; nothing 'imminent' on Asante
The agent for defensive tackle Derek Landri said he expects to meet with the Eagles Friday night and that Landri would like to remain with the team. Meanwhile Asante Samuel's agent said there is nothing "imminent" regarding any trades for the corner, at least that he's aware of.

Eagles aim to right recent defensive draft failures
The Eagles have struggled to draft stud defensive players in recent years (See: Bryan Smith, Daniel Te'O-Nesheim and Matt McCoy). Will they change their draft strategy this year?

Bryan Smith, Daniel Te’O-Nesheim and Matt McCoy not working out shouldn’t have been a shocker (to anyone but the Eagles apparently)

All had late round grades, no scout I heard was high on any of them, and we take them in the 2, 3rd rounds. I really don’t know what they saw in Te-O, especially when they showed interviewed him (one of his biggest hobbies was something like staring at the ceiling)

OF COURSE Harbaugh defends Reid and Castillo.

He wouldn’t have gotten the #2 seed otherwise. I bet Reid defends Jason Garrett and Matt Sanchez too.

That’s not why he’s defending him. Reid is an old friend who helped him get a HC job.

And since he’s been around Juan for many years, I’m going to trust his word over the armchair QBs here.

Eagles will be 11-5 or 12-4 in 2012

Sell the baby

The coaches are to blame, the players are to blame. Sorry to say, but Andy has lost this team. 53 super talented individuals with no heart.
