It a tough call

If they really want him, they should extend him. If the price aint right (which is what is apparent), they dont.

This whole, Franchise and Trade him is nice and dandy for us fan to consider, but whose to say that theyll actually be able to deal him after they franchise him? Isnt the trade off a real big price for other teams? And if our argument is, well who cares, if we franchise him for 9.4M and we dont get any offers from other teams, we just keep him for one more season. Well again, if the Eagles cant extend him them and are ready to trade him, it means they pretty much dont want him. So what this does is it takes away 9.4M that we could be giving to another bigger WR or even another WR + LB. So….I dunno…. Im not sure I agree with this whole Franchise & Trade scenario. The one plus is that they do have cash to spend, but they also have holes to fill….

Horrible post

I can say I almost disagree with everything that he just wrote. Franchising him is in now way rewarding him. He wants a long term deal of at least 10 mil per year. The franchise 1 year contract is for less than he wants for the next five years annually. And if we franchised and traded him then we definitely wouldn’t be giving him to the giants or cowboys. We would have the choice to give him to whoever we want to. Think about T.O. – he left to go to Dallas to spite us. At least we’d get to choose his destination. Also, I am not upset about the players that left- the only one that hurts is B-Dawk. He still had probowl years left. I as a Philly fan would be outraged if we let him walk for nothing. Sign or trade him now. This lame duck stuff is what ruined him last year.
