The Falcons are lacking in the salary cap department as are the Lions and Texans. Could open up possibilities with Curtis Lofton, Stephen Tulloch and (while maybe not important for us) Mario Williams.

Only reason to spend on Mario is to avoid him going to Dallas
and if you are cool with cutting Babin… Williams is actually much better against the run.

the texans have a bunch of players that were signed for depth last year
because of all the injuries, after those are taken out, and if they cut jacoby jones and matt leinart than they should have plenty to sign mario, foster, and meyers

It would be amazing to get Lofton. He’s a very good linebacker, he seriously held the Fakcons defense together this season.

Nah, Connor Barwin stepped up for them and Williams will carry a $10 million a year cap hit easy. I think they let him walk.

Getting Tulloch or Lofton would be awesome.
From some reports coming out it sounds like DJAX will get the franchise tag. So on April 26th in rd 1 Reid and company may just go with BPA.
