I don't know why they felt the need to write that article
Of course fans care more than the players. If they cared as much as we do, they wouldn’t be able to get traded and give 100% for a different team, which history shows us they can.

It's simple
To us it’s a game. To the players, it’s a job. I’m sure there are those who love doing this for a living and just as sure there are some who don’t like playing football for a living.
I look at it like this. Would these players play the game for less than the 30,000 I make a year? I think not.
Don't let the wulchers get ya.
There are those who play for the love of the game
And would probably play for free; Ray Lewis comes to mind. But in the end you are correct, it’s their job. Life does not stop for them because they lose a game. The length of a players career is infinitesimal when compared to the time fans will spend being a fan of their team.

Hell yea…. Fans care more than the eagles players. I stopped caring when I saw avant laughing with somebody from the other team after we loss.. the reason is because that was the game he got manhandled for the ball twice.

I'm tired of the Vick jazz..He made a mistake..it's over...
That party was ridiculous..I just don’t know what to make of it..other than laugh at it…As far as us fans of Football?….We’re always getting screwed one way or another
"When I was a boy and I had no sense..I got my pecker caught in an electric fence..Well it curled my hair, tickled my balls and made me shit in my overalls..."
It's all comparative
Ppl are asked “who do you think is the most hated athlete” only one they can remember is Vick, and it’s compared to other athletes.
Me, I hate bill belichik the most, he cheated for many, many years. The scandal was buried by NFL because it was harmful to NFL for it to be exposed and linger in memory. It challenged legitimacy of records, SB titles and NFL fan base feeling of ‘legitimate fairness.’
Vick will be most hated until replaced by a ‘worse’ offender.
Vick also holds an amazing place in America as a symbol of redemption. In many urban neighborhoods 1 out of 3 males end up dead or in jail before they turn 30 years old. Vick is a big symbol that you can survive. Reporters talk in general about redemption, but just go to north Philly or Camden and ask, you’ll find that Vick’s story has amazing resonance.

Ah Bill B. is a great coach...I don't give much creedence to the cheating stuff..
But he did outfox himself in the Super Bowl…He told the team to make Eli throw to Manningham..Well he did..also he let Bradshaw score..Those two errors cost him a Championship..
"When I was a boy and I had no sense..I got my pecker caught in an electric fence..Well it curled my hair, tickled my balls and made me shit in my overalls..."
he let Bradshaw score
He actually should have let him score sooner to leave more time on the clock for brady.
Some guy at PSU Hershey Med Center just discovered a virus that eats cancer. Where were the CNN trucks for that? THON will probably break $10 mil this year. Put that on "Outside the Lines".
He probably could have saved a little more time..but he didn't...
It is funny Eli hollered “Don’t score !!”…The rest is history…Brady did do his best..but that was that…I was actually happy AB scored..Funniest TD I ever saw..Him trying to put on the brakes and falling untouched across the goal line..Very weird ending to a game of that magnitude…But I’m glad our guys won..

we care more cause we dont have the things they do

I am "A" okay
with players going out after a loss to blow steam off. I personally would need time to be alone after a loss but everyone is entitled to release stress and loss in what ever way works best for them.
If they didn’t play hard than thats a diff story. But they did. If they didn’t prepare well then that is a different story. When the game is done it is done!
At least one more year of Andy and Juan. If they don't win it all they both better be gone!
No way Eagles draft a LB in the first round 2012.
We will see if Spags was in the right place at the right time in the Gmens SB run. Or was that the fluke year and he really is just mediocre.
