Patrick McDermott
Nate Allen is officially out for tonight's game against the New Orleans Saints.
With Allen out, David Sims will get his first start of the season.
Darryl Tapp will not play tonight, however, as he is with his wife. The two are expecting their first child.
The complete list of inactives are: Trent Edwards, Mardy Gilyard, Darryl Tapp, Danny Watkins, Nate Menkin, Vinny Curry and Nate Allen.
One name not on the list of course is Mike Patterson, who will make his first appearance of the season. With Patterson active, the Eagles have five defensive tackles on the roster tonight.
Jamar Chaney and Damaris Johnson make their return to the field after being inactive for two straight games. Chaney is likely active for special teams, with Jason Williams cut earlier this week to make room for Patterson.
Another interesting note is that all four running backs- LeSean McCoy, Dion Lewis, Chris Polk and Bryce Brown- are all active.
For the Saints, Darren Sproles is inactive.
