'Nother F'ing Loss!



I've been a defender of Andy Reid, and of Juan Castillo (screw the pedigree, the defense played defense under him). I've been a believer when the team started a 2011 win streak to eek out .500 and used that to convince myself that our team wasn't THAT bad. We ended up 5-1 in our division, after all. We had some good youth, and some veterans. we had some strong units last year, and we seemed to address areas of serious concern in our off season.

And then... the season began.. and we were....

Bad.

Terribly Bad.

As bad as I've ever seen the team be bad, bad.

We don't have a chance in games. If we are playing well, we have mental mistakes that seem to plague us. Bad penalties. Dropped passes. Fumbles. Blown blocking assignments. Poor tackling.

I hate to say this, and I can't believe I would ever be that Negadelphian fan who would.
Its over. The season, the team, the hopes, and even the entertaining value of this team... gone.

When we pulled Mudd and Washburn in, I had already guessed what was up. A final last ditch effort to win a SB before Andy's tenure ended. One last hurrah - get a band of seasoned NFL coaching vets together for one last line in the sand.

But the results surprised even Andy's worst critics. The game is played faster now than the old guys can adjust to.
Our coaches are simply outcoached every week. Not by the NFL's best. But by the teams that really aren't looking like they are too hot either.

In 2012, the eagles are keeping company with Jacksonville, Cleveland, Kansas City, Carolina, and Oakland.

We are the bottom of the barrel now.

We need to change .. everything. everyone. everyway.
This team is simply worse than bad.
