While a three and four is bad, the way they got the three and four record is worse. Losing to playoff teams (last year) who are coming off a bye isn't bad, but the way they lost certainly was.

Still, it's hard to count the eagles out of the playoffs this early, even though sunday felt like a must win.

Some stats to consider:

-The combined record of the teams the eagles face in November is 9-20

-For the rest of the year it's 27-39

-21-37 not including the giants

-As of right now, the only team the eagles face with a winning record is the giants

-All of this compared to a 31-19 first half

-The giants are facing the opposite situation where they still have to play green bay, pittsburgh, baltimore, atlanta, and us

Obviously, the only thing the eagles should focus on is beating New Orleans, and I don't think there should be anymore drastic changes as of right now. Reid's teams historically get better late in the season, and hopefully that continues here.

This team should just forget that October ever happened, and keep the playoffs as a goal.
