What's going on. I'm a long-time Eagles fan from Philly.
The Offensive line play has us all roaring in anger and clamoring for the return of Jason Peters. Still, I am concerned that a 6'4, 340lb man may not be the same force on the left side after such a gruesome injury and relapse. I am more confident that Kelce can return to form considering his age and smaller stature (and thus less stress upon his knee). Mathis has been underwhelming, but my instincts tell me that his struggles might be mitigated with decent linemates around him. I don't know exactly what to think about Watkins--he is inexperienced at the NFL level, unproven, and has been inconsistent. Herremans has not really played well the last few games and looked slow against Cliff Avril.
This team has great skill position players, minus Michael Vick who is erratic and has been difficult to evaluate impartially because his offensive line is a Mongolian clusterfuck of a circus and his Offensive Coordinator can't call plays that fit his team logically.
My question is, how much of the Offense's struggles rest on Vick. Is it him, or the pieces around him, or both?
