The Linc - Rex Grossman Says Redskins Were A "Pretty Damn Good 5-11"
Rex Grossman is still high on the Redskins - DC Sports Bog - The Washington Post
Rex Grossman kicked off the 2011 Redskins season with what many thought was an overly optimistic interview about an NFC East title, so it’s only fitting for him to close the 2011 Redskins season with another tremendous interview, filled with sunshine and puppies.

Iggles Blitz " Blog Archive " Eagles Draft Talk From Mobile
LB Audie Cole would be interesting. He’s 6’4, 248. I think we’d have to put him at MLB. He’s effective at jamming receivers on underneath routes and hugging up against them, but he’s not a guy you necessarily want in space vs a RB. Cole is a good pass rusher. He has some pop when he hits. Might be the kind of guy who would fit nicely in the Wide-9 because of his size and toughness. Eagles might think he’s not athletic enough to play for us. Mid-round type of guy.

I used to go with "Deadskins"
But lolskins also serves it’s purpose since we all seem to lol when we think of them.

no confidence the eagles
can successfully draft a LB. I know this is a bad time but I would take Nicks over Maclin(slightly) and JPP over Graham by a ton.
Question: Who did we lose off of our staff after 2002? We had a great draft year.
Lito – starter/all pro material until he decided he was too talented to be coached.
Michael Lewis- at that time fit what safetys do. Big hitter who could cover the old style bulky TE’s.
Sheldon- Best CB we drafted along side Bobby T
Westy- best career RB we drafted since Montgomery
loser
loser- WR we missed a ton at WR until DJax it was a yearly ritual
loser- LB we still can’t draft them
Raheem Brock- played 152 of 160 games so far in a 10 year career. He accumulated 40.5 sacks, 13 FR and 16 FF. Great 7th round pick!….
At least one more year of Andy and Juan. If they don't win it all they both better be gone!
No way Eagles draft a LB in the first round 2012.
We will see if Spags was in the right place at the right time in the Gmens SB run. Or was that the fluke year and he really is just mediocre.

hindsight is 20/20 on the draft
I’m sure everyone right now would take JPP over Graham and a lot of people would also take Nicks slightly over Maclin.
Just to prove a point
Even the Giants fans hated drafting JPP
Just look at some of the comments.
EAGLES GET GRAHAM
DALLAS GETS DEZ
JETS GET REAL NICE CORNER IN WILSON
WE COME HOME WITH A GUY THAT HAS NOT EVEN 7 COLLEGE STARTS UNDER HIS BELT ? really?

Alfonzo Dennard
He’s a tough, physical corner who plays bigger than his listed size, but Dennard’s lack of top-end speed and inability to recover were both exposed during Senior Bowl practices. He competed hard and was able to push receivers around at times, but Dennard also allowed too much separation out of breaks, and once he recovered it took him too long to get back into the play. He is fluid enough to turn his hips and run with receivers, but he likely won’t be able to stay with above-average vertical threats at the next level.
Dennard isn’t in a free fall, but he’s likely slipped to the middle of the second round and forced teams to go back to the tape for another and check his ability to locate and defend the deep out, among other things.

Found it funny how the same guy got polar opposite reviews!

That Rex, he’s a heckuva speaker.
AR should have to wear a Flava Flav necklace until he learns how to manage a clock.
I am the proud target of temper tantrums.
ummm...
… maybe the eagles should be looking at linebackers and safeties too, just in case a runner finds a hole and the LB’s over persue and the safeties are too slow and the corners can’t tackle?
Or if the line just can’t get the sack or the pressure this one time and an over matched safety gets burnt on a pass?
Or a TE gets out to the second level just fast enough to burn the LBs?
We all know this would never happen, but I am just saying maybe.

We’ve invested a 2nd round pick at safety each of the past two drafts. Do you really think management would swallow their pride and admit they missed on those picks? Nah, we’re stuck with Allen and Jarrett for the foreseeable future. I’m hopeful Allen will return to form with more time to heal, not sure about Jarrett.
I'll give you a cookie if you know what my pic is from.
What if
You wrapped up those mistakes in a Philly cheese steak sandwich? B
Seriously, there will be boo’s if we wait until the third round ( or worse) to draft a “steal” linebacker. Especially when we have an extra pick before the third round.

Credit where credit is due.
Demps and Harris both went from starters to out of a job before the next season, they shipped off DTN to Tampa Bay and cut Lindley (then brought him back later). Moreover, Coleman (7th round) started over Jarrett (2nd round) this season. They don’t like admitting mistakes (Who does?) but they will do it.
by Tracer Bullet on Jan 27, 2012 2:49 PM EST up reply actions
Demps and Harris were 4th and 5th round picks, and Lindley was a 4th. It’s not that big a deal to miss on a 4-5 round pick. It’s also not a big deal to have a 2nd round pick on the bench their first season. Drafting a safety in the 1st or 2nd round this year is admitting that you missed so bad on a 2nd round pick, that after 1-2 years you already know they’ll never be a starting caliber player. To admit to squandering a 2nd pick is pretty big. That’s why Trevor Laws and Victor Abriamiri are still on the team (for now).
I'll give you a cookie if you know what my pic is from.
I dunno, I see what your saying but...
Hi A-G
I don’t think Billionaires have to put pride over profits. In this case profit means winning. Will Lurie let Reid mess up the D over pride?
Trevor Laws is still on the team because he kicked ass at the end of last year and in camp this year. Abiamiri is still on the team because… well … shit, I don’t know if he has photos of Lurie fucking a transvestite in Las Vegas or what, but it I have read that it has something to do with when he was injured and how the contracts work. I refer to Abiamiri as that floating turd that won’t flush.
If Andy’s ass is really on the line this year, he better do more than draft for his strongest defensive position, pride or not.
