Of course, players could have previously work whatever gloves they wanted but nike being able to use the team logos on the gloves is a first (I think).

I’m sorry that you’re going to feel the brunt of this but whining about the NFL fining people has quickly become my biggest pet peeve. Take a few minutes to go over the rules regarding celebrations and helmet contact and it really isn’t that hard. While I could see how these would be considered “a prop” if done independently how can you not understand that the league was complicit in the designing of these??

And while we are talking about pet peeves… Don’t even get me started on idiots who still don’t understand modified overtime rules.

Yeah, I don’t see this ending in a fine. Player holds up the gloves, 10 year olds at home see the logo, beg their parents for the gloves, buy them for $50, and the NFL makes a nice profit. You won’t see them fining players for doing exactly what this is supposed to do — create free marketing for NFL merchandise.

I wonder if all this gear is actually going to be allowed on field or whether they are just early prototypes being released to show players gathering for the pro bowl.

If they are being allowed on field does that mean Nike is doing the pro bowl uniforms as well?? Doubtful, that would have probably already made headlines if so.

Any idea when

Nike/NFL is going to release the new uniform designs for next year? I doubt there will be huge changes right away for a lot of teams, but I’m anxious to see it anyways.

As far as I have heard, no actual design changes will be made… for now. That doest mean that Nike wont change how current designs are constructed/tailored.

One thing that I had not thought about… Pro Bowl uniforms. I have a feeling nike is going to go BUCK each year when it comes to designing those.
