Vontaze Burfict to Eagles in second round...
Thoughts?
It also mentions Rolle as being the best performing out of the 3.

I don't understand this
If he’s not worth picking in the first round because of all his issues, how is he a good pick in the 2nd? If he’s a question mark, don’t waste the pick. Our seconds are way too important to take flyers like this
I disagree. You don’t want to waste your highest pick on a wildcard, because if he’s a bust you’ll have to look at all the other players you should have drafted instead. In the second you can gamble a little, because you could be getting first round potential and if he’s a bust, well then it was just one of your seconds, not a first.

Using Da'Quan Bowers as an example from last year
His serious knee questions were still knee questions regardless of where he was picked. Do you really want a high 2nd to be a 50/50 proposition? I don’t. If Burfict’s still lying around in the 4th round, then fine, go ahead.
How often do we rip on Quinton Caver, LJ Smith, T’eo Nesheim, Ryan Moats, Trevor Laws or any other fairly high pick that was a flyer, and eventually a bust? Hell, even now a large percentage of this site is ready to let DeSean walk because he could never really overcome those concerns.
Burfict’s got genuine character and talent concerns. Is this team really ready for more of those?
That argument doesn’t work well with me, since I liked Te’o and Laws and Jackson, but I get your point. I like Vontaze’s upside a lot, but his downside is too big for the #5 pick. For me, once we hit the second round it begins to balance out.

Your logic is broken
I wouldnt pay $20 for a hamburger why would I pay $10??
VOID!!!
My logic isn't broken, you broke it yourself with that example
If there was a distinct possibility that a burger would give you Mad Cow disease, would paying $10 make buying it any better of a decision than if it cost $20? Bottom line: you would not take that risk, regardless of the savings.
More like
I’m selling you a suitcase and I know that it either has a sum of money (possibly quite a lot of it!) or a trip wire that will give you enough of a shock to hurt you pretty bad. Would you buy it for $100? Probably not worth the risk. But once the price starts getting lower, the risk becomes more in your favor.

True! Mad Cow was a touch of hyperbole
But the discount in that hypothetical (for me) would be MUCH more than the drop from a 1st to a 2nd. More like from a 1st to a 4th.
I’ve been shocked way too many times but Reid’s fucking suitcases
Also the debates on here if we got lk and vb would be EPIC!!!!!

Wouldn't the opposite happen?
If we start with the premise that most debates on this blog are centered on who we Don’t get. JPP, jimmy smith, earl Thomas , etc… Then it follows that we would not be debating the players, we would be celebrating!
