I just sent messages to my representative and senators. There are only a handful of countries that censor the internet, and they consist of places like Iran, China, North Korea, Syria, Vietnam, Cuba, etc. Is that the company we want to keep?

SOPA and PIPA can NOT be passed. It will seriously hinder the sharing of information and censor the internet. It goes against everything that freedom stands for. Seriously guys, it’s a BIG deal. Contact your local Rep and/or Senator and spread the word!!!

I wrote my congressman Joe Pitts a letter today in addition to the petition. The Internet seems like the only place where us as Americans can truely state our opinions without being persecuted. I may not be the most politically informed person, but I take my 1st amendment seriously

I just called his office and left a message with a secretary and this asshole was trying to tell me all this stupid bullsht. I just told him I’m with the other millions of Americans who oppose it and he just hung up on me.
